Dear Perkins Family
My deepest condolences on the passing of your mama.
Lula more affectionately known to many of us as"twin" was a big part of my growing up years
at Washington School and through out high school
too.At Washington School we were in Campfire Girls together...went to camp together. One story that I want to tell you about is this. We were at camp with the twins and I had the worst ear ache in the world. Twin told me to jump in bed with them and they would keep my ear warm.
We all grew up in the same area so we saw each other often.
I've since moved to Montreal Canada but every summer when I come home I would stop and see twin on Baldwin Street. We would catch up on the latest and solve all the world problems in one afternoon.
My last visit with twin was two summers ago. This pass summer I went to her house but no one answered the door.
Later found out from our mutual friend Vernail Leblanc she moved to live with her son.
I know twin is now with her Lord and Savior and she is now at peace.
God bless each of you as you lay your mama to rest.
In Christ Love,
Nancy Markos-Vitale
