James Edward "Cadillac" Blackful Jr.
Mr. James Edward Blackful Jr. affectionately referred to as Jr. by his family and Cadillac by his friends and neighbors. Born to James Edward Blackful, Sr. and Theressa Blackful on June 07, 1933 in Charleston, Missouri. His parents moved to Battle Creek MI in 1943. He shined the shoes of the soldiers and delivered newspapers at the VA Hospital on the weekends. He attended Capital High School. Jr. quickly became a jack of all trades. In his early adulthood he worked for General Motors as a Painter and Test car driver. Jr. moved on to the United Wire and Steel Company as an A-1 Welder and Consultant retiring in 1998. He could fix anything, automobiles to houses. Jr. was a member of the “Rollin Knights Club”. Family was everything to Jr., he would visit with all his kids and family members on a regular basis. He enjoyed telling stories about his heritage, his children, and his Cadillacs. Everyone who knew “Cadillac” enjoyed his radiant smile, his colorful stories and his cool slow Cadillac (CAT) cruise down every street in town taking you were all his family members lived. He had an awesome sense of humor and would change his voice to match, whoever, he was telling the story about with body language to match the gestures.
