Delores D. Labadie, age 86, of Battle Creek, died Saturday April 7th 2018 at her home. Delores was born May 24, 1931, in Angola, Indiana to Willis and Mary (Katts) Bowerman and graduated from Battle Creek High School in 1949. Delores was employed by the Kellogg Co. Delores loved spending time with her family, she enjoyed watching her grandchildren and their sporting events and attending family outings, she also enjoyed playing Bingo, Croqueting, watching the Detroit Tigers, camping, boating, collecting angels, flowers and gardening. Delores loved her dogs especially her favorite “Sandy”. She is survived by her husband Robert , a daughter, Diana Lind of Battle Creek, five grandchildren, James (Lucia) Fish of Richland, Michael Lind of Battle Creek, and Krystal (Daryl) Schwass of Arlington, TX, Daniel and Alexia Pluff, of Bellevue, great grandchildren, Isabella and Mason Fish, Anntaya and Makayla Lind. Delores was preceded in death by her first husband, Melburn Lind in 2004, a daughter, Tammy Pluff, sons, Robert Labadie Jr. and Michael D. Lind, and a great granddaughter Chyanna Lind. Delores was preceded in death by her sister, Joan Kline and a brother, Robert Bowerman. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service, 223 N. Bedford Rd. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home, interment to follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
