Dear Lois, Mike and Cathy, I was saddened to hear that Jim passed. I missed our frequent interaction when I moved to Grand Rapids many years ago. I stopped by the house and visited with Jim a few years ago and I was very glad that I did. My memories of you all go back more than fifty-five years, and include playing with Mike, picking on his cute sister, Cathy and being fed lunch by Lois while doing both. In the eighties Jim and I discovered we had a mutual love for baseball, and in the summer of 85 we attended several ball games together watching the Battle Creek team when the Musial World Series at Baily Park. A sick wife and job commitments kept me from driving down for the service or the visitation. But please know that I have the fondest thoughts of you all. I had always thought (and hoped) that I could enjoy Jim's booming laugh forever. My condolences to all of you. The Underwood family has been the source of many of my smiles. Terry
