Condolence: Lois and family of Jim--- I realize this time of year is very sensitive to you because you recall Jim's humor, his laugh, his achievements and his love for all of you. We wanted to remember you as you approach the anniversary of his passing to say----- there will be better days ahead. But just remember Doris and Jim are together looking down on us.
All our love and caring. Fred & Sue
Condolence: Dear Lois, Mike and Cathy,
I was saddened to hear that Jim passed. I missed our frequent interaction when I moved to Grand Rapids many years ago. I stopped by the house and visited with Jim a few years ago and I was very glad that I did. My memories of you all go back more than fifty-five years, and include playing with Mike, picking on his cute sister, Cathy and being fed lunch by Lois while doing both. In the eighties Jim and I discovered we had a mutual love for baseball, and in the summer of 85 we attended several ball games together watching the Battle Creek team when the Musial World Series at Baily Park. A sick wife and job commitments kept me from driving down for the service or the visitation. But please know that I have the fondest thoughts of you all. I had always thought (and hoped) that I could enjoy Jim's booming laugh forever. My condolences to all of you. The Underwood family has been the source of many of my smiles.
Condolence: leaving this earth is so hard on loved ones. It's devistating knowing they are gone. The good news is Jesus saves a place for His people. He promises His people a renewed body and eternal life where there will be no more pain and it will be glorious. One day you will be reunited with your loved one. We always wish we had more time to spend with our family. Take comfort in knowing you will one day be with your dad again. Jessica, Madison & family
