Michael Stasio
Michael Stasio, age 70, died April 11th, 2016 at Bronson Medical Center after a long battle with an illness. Michael, of Buffalo, NY, was born November 8, 1945. In 1963, Michael enlisted in the Armed Forces. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force for just over 6 years. After his Honorable Discharge in 1971, Michael continued to work for the government until he retired in 2002.
Mr. Stasio is survived by his son, Richard Stasio and a brother, Frank Martini.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Stasio; brother, Robert Stasio; mother, Bertha Holmes; and father, Thomas Stasio.
A committal service with military honors will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery on Monday, April 18th at 11:30 AM. Michael has been cremated and will be interred in Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI following the committal service. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Michael’s name.
