Donald K. Keagle, age 91, of Battle Creek, died Sunday September 20, 2015 at Bronson Hospital, Kalamazoo. Don was born October 21, 1923 in Burlington Township, Michigan to George and Mona (Strong) Keagle. He married the former Myrna L. McCracken on October 18, 1944. Don had been employed by the AB Stove Co., The Duplex Co., and retired in 1982 from Post Cereals after 28 years of service. Don is a past member of the Loyal Order of the Moose; he enjoyed woodworking, and fishing. Don and Myrna enjoyed many summers at Thornapple River and many winters in Bradenton FL. Don is survived by his wife Myrna, sons, Ron (Margaret) Keagle of Dowling, Kenneth Keagle and Donny Keagle, both of Battle Creek, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, sisters, Florence Phillips of Battle Creek, and Georgia Mae Brackett, of St. Petersburg, FL. Don was preceded in death by his sisters, Iva Bailey , Mona Riley, Viola Kline and Thelma Cook, brothers, Hudson, Glen, J.L. , Harold, Neil, Thomas and Raymond Keagle. Graveside memorial services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday September 25, 2014 at the Bedford Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.
