Arthur James Redden, 75, of Battle Creek, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, October 20, 2018. He was born January 13, 1943 in Charleston, MO the son of John and Georgia (Rush) Redden. Art was a supervisor for Kellogg Co. and retired after 30 plus years of service. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and spending time with his family. Art was very handy and did a lot of architectural work.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Corey (Sabrina) Redden, James Perry, Chanel Redden, and Kimberly Leon; sisters, Grace Washington, Ollie (David) Fisher, Elsie Patton; brother, Carl Redden; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and Art was a great great great uncle to a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lois Starling and Jerline Stubbs; and brother, Charles Redden.
Visitation will be held at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at Maranatha Original Church of God with Pastor Geraldine T. Richardson officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Battle Creek, MI.
