It is with great sadness that the family of Dale Wayne Corke announces his sudden passing on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the age of 67 years old. Dale was born February 23, 1951 in Edmore, MI the son of Warren Robert and Mary JoAnn (Stephens) Corke. Dale attended Loma Linda University where he achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. He later attended Western Michigan University and obtained his Master’s degree in Psychology. Dale married Rita Wilke on June 29, 1975 in Alpena, MI. Dale had a deep passion for his family and grandkids, as he lived by the motto “Family always comes first.”
Dale will be forever remembered and is survived by his wife and best friend of 43 years, Rita Ann (Wilke) Corke; son, Levi (Janelle) Corke; grandchildren, Angel, Xander, William, Wesley, and Leo; mother, Mary Joann Berean. He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his sisters and brother; Doreen Corke of Brookfield, IL, Cynthia (Dean) Wolfer of Yorkville, IL, Sharon (Rick) Gradziel of Lyons, IL, and Stephen (Michelle) Corke of LaPeer, MI. Dale will also be forever remembered by his cousins, numerous nieces, nephews, external family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service. A celebration of Dale’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made thru the “Go Fund ME” website@ https://www.gofundme.com/ftde4-saint-jude. Proceeds from the funding page will be sent to the St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Dale Wayne Corke.
