Virginia Ellen Bailey, 91, of Battle Creek, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018. She was born July 7, 1927 in Battle Creek, the daughter of Luther and Della (Mosher) Carroll. Ginny married the late Edward Bailey on February 15, 1969 in Battle Creek. She graduated from Battle Creek Central. Ginny worked for Kellogg Company for 34 years before her retirement. In her earlier years she worked with children at Maple United Methodist Church and her and her mother would sew clothing for the Charitable Union. Ginny loved to travel and spend her winters in Florida. She enjoyed all kinds of crafts, sewing, and quilting. Ginny was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandy (Harlan) DeMott, Cathy Titus, Janet (Dan) Dix and Carol Bailey; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Martha McKelvey and Alice Cox; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward; and brothers, Walter, Louis, and Larry Carroll.
