Obituary for Jeffrey Blair ""Jeff"" Norman

Jeffrey Blair Norman, 57, passed away peacefully, Monday January 29th in his Marco Island, Florida home from complications due to cancer. Jeff was born September 29th, 1960 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Wayne and Bobbie Norman. He graduated from Battle Creek Central in 1978 and attended Northwood University with an emphasis in culinary sciences. Jeffery, known as “Jeff”, was a prominent figure in the little town of Battle Creek, MI. He was known for running Norman Foods after the business was passed down to him by his father Wayne Norman whom inherited the company from his father before him.
Jeff was a kind, loving, hardworking man who loved movies, golfing, and most of all the Detroit Lions and University of Michigan. He looked forward to fall Sundays, when he would watch the Lions find new ways to let him down. He was a devoted University of Michigan sports fan and enjoyed spending his days out on the water with friends in his recognizable Maize and Blue boat cruising the Florida beaches.
Jeff was preceded in death by his first wife, Juliee T. (Hazel) Norman in 1991, parents, Wayne and Bobbie (Fogelson) Norman and his older sister Cathy L. Norman. Jeff is survived by his wife Lori Norman; siblings, Wendy (Tom) Wood of Little Rock Arkansas, brothers, Steve Norman, and Gary Norman, both of Battle Creek,MI, sons, Tyler Jeffrey (Valerie) Norman of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Thomas Lee (Andrea) Norman, of Battle Creek, MI. step children, Kristin (Jason) Ormsby of Naples, FL, Andrew (Megan) Kline of Sweetser, IN, and Adam (Autumn) Kline of Fairmount, IN. He will be lovingly remembered by his 11 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service, 223 North Bedford Road, Battle Creek, MI on Thursday, February 8th from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM. Services will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 16 E. Van Buren St. Battle Creek, MI on Friday, February 9th at 1:00 PM and burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to VITAS Hospice in Naples, FL.
