Zelma L McLeod, age 80, of Bellevue, died Saturday January 27th 2018 at her home. Zelma was born July 14, 1937 in Union City, Michigan to Arthur and Ruth (Blaker) Johnson. She was a 1955 graduate of Union City High School and married Darryl McLeod on October 26, 1957. Zelma had worked as a property manager and homemaker. Zelma loved to attend garage sales and thrift shops, she also enjoyed her cats, watching musical movies but her favorite time was spent with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen (David) Graham of Battle Creek, and Diane (William) Blood of Bellevue, sons, James (Mary) McLeod, Mark McLeod and Timothy McLeod all of Bellevue and Matthew (Lori) McLeod of Battle Creek, 14 grand and step grandchildren, and 5 great and step great grandchildren. Zelma was preceded in death by her husband Darryl in 1995, brothers, Marvin, Richard, Wayne, and Leon Johnson. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Friday at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service, 223 N. Bedford Rd. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
