Carol E. Snook, age 88, of Battle Creek, died Thursday November 30, 2017 at the Oaks at North pointe Woods. Carol was born January 18, 1929 in Kalamazoo to David and Loweta (Brown) Brown and came to Battle Creek as a young woman. Carol was employed at Schranks Cafeteria where she met Charles R. Snook and they married on October 9, 1950. Carol was a member of the Central Christian Church and enjoyed crocheting and making clothing for her grandchildren whom she loved to babysit. Carol is survived by her sons; Gene (Diane) Snook of Dowling and Richard Snook of Battle Creek, Three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren and a sister Eilene Dimock, of Florida. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles, in 1979, a sister Barbara Snelling, brothers; Mylan and Robert Brown, a daughter in law, Bonny (McManus) Snook in 2007 and longtime companion Ken Crawford.
