Terry D. Wolford, age 69, of Battle Creek, died Sunday at Bronson Battle Creek. Terry was born May 15, 1948 in Battle Creek, to Donald and Dorothy “Lucy” (Barnes) Wolford and was a lifelong resident of Battle Creek. Terry worked in construction out of the Laborers Union Local #355. Terry was a man of many interest, he enjoyed woodworking and whittling, fishing, music, and cooking. Terry’s favorite activity is spending time with his family, which included many practical jokes as possible. Terry will be remembered and missed by many friends he has made along the way and a loving family. Surviving is a daughter, Tanaya (Jamie) Messimer of Graysville, TN, a son, Terry Wolford of Battle Creek a stepdaughter, Virginia M. Barnes, of Dayton, TN, brothers, Donald (Kathy) Wolford, of Spring City, TN and Robert (Sheila) Wolford, of Battle Creek, grandson, Dallas, Justus, and Titus Messimer, a niece, Michelle Harrison, nephew, Michael Wolford, special friends, John West, Jimmy Dean, and Roger and Lee Riddle. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant daughter, Amanda Wolford.
