Ericia Lashan McLiechey, 43, of Battle Creek, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Rose Arbor Hospice. She was born September 27, 1974 in Battle Creek, the daughter of Doreea McLiechey. Ericia attended Battle Creek Central. She worked for Rite Aid for 14 years. Ericia had a big personality and was always the life of the party. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She would always have her hair done and be “dressed to the nines”. She had a passion for everything she did. Ericia was a very independent woman with a huge heart.
She is survived by her children, Dayleo'ne Jackson, Jordan Jackson, Nautica Jackson, Justin Jackson McLiechey, Brooklyn McLiechey, Darius McLiechey, Diamond McLiechey, and Jaylen McLiechey; sibling, Marcus and Stacey Chapman; grandchildren, Na'veah, A'lonna, and one grandson on the way; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Doreea and son, Dwight Jackson, Jr.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 6th from 12:00-1:00 PM with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM at the Maranatha Original Church of God with Pastor Geraldine T. Richardson officiating. Burial will be at the Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Battle Creek, MI.
