Roger T. Barnett, Jr., 45, of Battle Creek, passed away Friday, July 14, 2017. He was born August 12, 1971 in Battle Creek, the son of Roger and Sally (Thomas) Barnett, Sr. Roger worked for many years in the construction industry. He was an avid bowler and a member of several bowling leagues; including CompuLink and Come As U R. Roger was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed trips to MIS. He was a U of M, Detroit Lions, and Red Wings fan. Roger will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his parents, Roger, Sr. and Sally; sisters, Terri (Steven) Roberts, Becki (Matt) DiPofi, and Christi Barnett; significant other, Melissa "Missy" Crum; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Meadow.
Visitation will be held Friday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service. Memorial services will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service and per request of the family, please dress in your favorite sports gear. Memorial tributes may be made to Humane Society of Central Michigan.
