Condolence: My Dad and Wilma were first cousins. He would tell stories of how they would play as kids on the farm, pretending they were chickens. They wrote back and forth all their lives. I remember always seeing the letters to Wilma ready to go out in the mail. When Wilma's 90th birthday came along, my Dad said he couldn't drive, so I drove, and met wonderful Wilma. From then on we had the best times. Dinner and a play. Visiting an old village in Battle Creek, driving to Traverse City for the McKrill family reunion, where she was the hit. One day we had dinner at the old train station in Battle Creek, and the owner was giddy to have Wilma walk around and tell the history of each part. This is the station where my Grama and Wilma's Mom (sisters) would meet way back in the 20's. She described how the soldiers would come and go during WWII. Our dinner was on the house. She spent the night at my house, and was tickled that my black lab dog insisted on sleeping with her, with her chin on Wilma's leg. When I came to town to visit, Wilma asked if she could stay at the hotel with me. We had a lot of fun. Coffee and donuts in bed like two kids at a sleep over. She was a lot like a Mom to me. Though I am so happy she enjoyed almost 101 years on this earth, I will miss her still. Monica (McKrill)

Condolence: Wilma, you will be truly missed by me as always. We had a special bond and I will always treasure our talks about the organ and life. Every time I hear "Take me out to the Ball Game" it still reminds me of you. R.I.P. My Angel and if it's GODS will, I'll see you again. PEACE
