Wilma Marie Picard, 100, of Battle Creek, passed away Monday, May 8, 2017. She was born June 8, 1916 in Lansing, MI the daughter of Roy and Jessie (McKrill) Campbell. Wilma’s past employers included Kellogg’s, Post Cereal, and Clark Equipment. She was an avid reader and loved to garden. Wilma enjoyed crafting, listening to and playing the organ, collecting coins and stamps, sewing, and playing cards. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Charlotte) Kyser; 7 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Buddy and Gary Kyser; three husbands, Clarence Kyser, Edward Swartz, and Elmer Picard; brothers, Lester and Roy Campbell; and sisters, Gwen Anderson and Thelma Griffin.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM with the funeral to follow at 1:30 PM at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service. Burial will be held Monday at the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens in Emmett Township, MI. Memorial tributes may be made to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
