Obituary for Jerry Andrew Hale

Jerry Andrew Hale, 63, of Battle Creek, went to sleep in the Lord on Sunday, April 23, 2017. He was born September 19, 1953 in Eagle, WV the son of Landon and Dorothy (Palmer) Hale. Jerry attended Springfield schools. He was a hard worker and a jack of all trades. Some of Jerry’s past jobs include; Beech and Rich, Schweitzer’s, and various construction trades to include road, industrial, and residential painting. He had a passion for music, particularly song writing and playing the guitar. Jerry had traveled by road all over for his love of music. He had a deep spiritual connection with Jesus Christ. Jerry would like to be remembered for his love of Jesus Christ his Savior and Redeemer. His two favorite scripture were John 3:16 and Romans 10:9. Jerry had a huge heart and will be deeply missed by so many.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; sons, Jerraciatoma (Jenney Perry) Hale, Jermane (Heather) Pinson, and Jerry (Kellie) Smith; grandchildren, Joseph, Jalen, Karley, Frankie, Christopher, Madelyn, Cassandra, Mercedes, Haelee, Wyatt, Chase, and
Hayden; great granddaughter, Elena; one great grandchild on the way; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his two beloved dogs, Gracie and Hunny.
He was preceded in death by his father, Landon; mother, Dorothy Williams; step-father, Arthur Williams; and seven siblings.
Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service and on Sunday from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Battle Creek Seventh Day Adventist Tabernacle. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:00 PM at the Battle Creek Seventh Day Adventist Tabernacle with Pastor Rob Benardo officiating. Memorial tributes may be made to the homeless, the hungry, animals in need, or the Battle Creek Seventh Day Adventist Tabernacle. Arrangements by the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service.
