It is with tremendous sadness that the family of Audrey Ann Caldwell, age 68, announces the sudden passing of our dear sister, aunt, cousin, and friend on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at her residence at Bent Tree apartments in Battle Creek, MI.

​Audrey was born October 27, 1948 in Battle Creek, MI, the daughter of Harvey Dale Caldwell and Laura Gertrude (Gardner) Caldwell.
​Audrey was a visible and well-known person in the community of Urbandale. Earlier in her life she was a waitress for two years at Gropp's Fish Fry Restaurant in the Columbia Plaza and was an attendant at the Blankenship Foster Care Home. Audrey had never married. She graduated in 1969 from Pennfield High School.
She is survived by her two brothers: Robert Caldwell of Battle Creek, MI; John Caldwell of Dowling, MI; three nieces: Elsie Caldwell, Crystal Caldwell, Savannah Caldwell, and her nieces and nephews: Lance, Brionna, McKensie, Shane, and Mary; and many cousins. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents.
Audrey had lived at Bent Tree Apartments for the past 30 years. She was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church for many years; she enjoyed talking with people on the public transportation and would ride the bus to spend much of the day socializing with friends and businesses in the Urbandale area.
​No visitation will be held at the funeral home; according to her family’s wishes Audrey will be cremated. Memorial funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Christ United Methodist Church, 65 North Bedford Road, Battle Creek with a funeral luncheon to follow. Memorial tributes may be made to: the Christ United Methodist Church to help defray Memorial costs.
