Condolences

Condolence From: Dale & Cherye Pitchure
Condolence: Dear Dorothy,
Cherye and I returned home from down south when we heard about Jerry’s passing. We are so sorry to hear this news. We wish we could have been here to see you and Stacey and offer our condolences in person.
There was not another guy like Jerry. He was one of a kind, to say the least. We all could see through his bravado and knew that he was a kind loving individual, totally committed to the well being of you and Stacey.
We have so many wonderful memories of our family times on Glencroft Lane. The parades, adult beverage hours and the other great friends and neighbors we all engaged with, are priceless experiences we won’t soon forget.
The two of you were a dynamic duo…so committed to Stacey and so admired by all.
Please know how much our hearts ache for you and how sorry we are to hear of Jerry’s passing.
With love and affection, your old friends in Battle Creek.
Dale and Cherye Pitchure

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. While it has been some time since we were last together, Jerry was one of a kind and a true friend to all. He had great passion for his interests and for his family. He will be missed by all. Our condolences to you Dorothy on your loss.

Condolence From: Mike Harrington
Condolence: Sorry to learn of Jerry's passing. I worked with Jerry for a number of years at Kemper. He was a strong leader - decisive, creative, optimistic, resilient, energetic and humorous. He was a good mentor to many young professionals including me. He was a pioneer in the money market fund business and was a key figure in the early years of Kemper when it was an industry leader. Jerry had a great marketing mind and was a valuable and trusted marketing advisor to me and to many successful businesses. I'll miss him. May he Rest In Peace. Mike Harrington

Condolence From: Barbara J. BAUMHART
Condolence: Dear Dorothy,

"The only feeling stronger than loss ... is love."

Was truly surprised and very sorry to hear that Jerry has earned his eternal reward. Always looked forward to seeing him at the Better Business Bureau's Annual Dinner. He held the TORCH high and represented the BBB for decades as Chairman and member of the Executive Committee. But most importantly to me, he was my husband Jim's mentor and friend during his long tenure as President of the Bureau.

You and Stacey are in my thoughts and prayers.
Eternal REST grant unto him, O Lord.

Condolence From: Peter Swire, CPA, CMA, ON
Condolence: I had the privilege of working with Jerry at MAGS. I may not have known him as long as other but I do want to share my observations.

I found him to be one of a rare breed of business people. He possessed personal integrity, fairness, honesty, hard working and a touch of humour. Each of these by themselves is a wonderful trait. Together, you have a thoughtful leader.

He did speak of Dorothy and his family often.
He was so proud of each one of them.

Jerry will be missed.
