Angelo J. RomanVals, age 85, of Battle Creek, died Tuesday January 17, 2017 at his home. Angelo was born in Chelles, France on May 30.1931 to Peter and Elisa (Madellena) RomanVals, and came to Battle Creek in 1957. Angelo was a tile installer for Imperial Tile and Battle Creek Tile Co. until his retirement in 1994. Angelo enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking and spending time with his dogs. Angelo is survived by his daughter, Susan (Merinda Power) English and a son Dean RomanVals, both of Battle Creek. He was preceded in death by his wife Alice (Gabriel) RomanVals, a son, John RomanVals and a brother, Bruno RomanVals. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service, 223 N. Bedford Rd. Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Monday, at the Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 2435 W. Territorial Rd at Helmer. Memorials may be given to the Humane Society or Bronson at Home Hospice.
