Douglas Alan Good, 58, of Battle Creek, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at his home. He was born December 22, 1957 in Battle Creek, the son of Gerald and Thera (Walker) Good. Doug graduated from Gull Lake High School, class of 1976. He worked for Coveris High Performance and Packaging for 3 years. He was a member of Westlake Presbyterian Church. Doug enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, working on cars and ballooning. He was on the chase crew for many years for hot air balloons. Doug cherished every moment spent with his family. He was a jack of all trades and mastered many of them.
He is survived by his mother, Thera; brothers, Kenneth Good and John (Rebecca) Good sister, Laura (Michael) Bishop; 2 nieces; 5 nephews; numerous cousins; and special friends, Bill (Linda) Culver and John Trotter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 4:00-6:00 PM at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service. Funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at Westlake Presbyterian Church with Pastor James M. Gysel officiating. Entombment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Battle Creek. Memorial tributes may be made to Westlake Presbyterian Church or the Food Bank of South Central Michigan (Lakeview Food Pantry).
