Obituary for
Jerome Clark
Jerome Clark, age 65, of Battle Creek, went to be with the Lord Friday, August 12th 2016, at Bronson Battle Creek. He was born October 1, 1950, in Battle Creek the son of Chester Earl Clark Sr. and Freddie Mae (Foreman) Clark. He graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1968 and was a lifelong resident of Battle Creek. He retired as a superintendent for the City of Battle Creek. He was a proud member of the NRA, and worked part time at Freedom Firearms in Battle Creek. Jerome is survived by his wife of 25 years, Janet Marie (Hoag) Clark; a brother, Fred Clark; daughters, Natasha (Tim) Northcutt, and Elisha Clark; a son, Eugene (Stacy) Roberts; a grandson, Clark Northcutt: a God daughter, Rickelle Portes; a God son, Darmon Lee and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Chester Clark Jr. Jerome loved to hunt, fish, golf, and enjoyed any activity that was outdoors. He loved his family and spending his time with them. He was a great man with many friends and he will be missed dearly by all the lives he touched. Visitation will be held from 6:00PM to 8:00 PM August 17, 2016 at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service, 223 N. Bedford Rd. Funeral services will be held 11:00 PM Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Upton Ave Original Church of God, 270 Upton Ave. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
