Warren E. Van Zandt

It is with tremendous sadness that the family of Warren Eugene Van Zandt, age 92 of Battle Creek, MI, announces the passing of our dear father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend at Bronson at Home Residence on Wednesday evening, July 27, 2016 surrounded by his family.

He married the former Doris Porlier on December 23, 1943 in Marshall, Michigan; she preceded him in death on Feb. 2, 2004.

He enjoyed working on his computer and downloading 1940’s and 1950’s music for his wife to play on their television; enjoyed playing his organ, compiling scrapbooks with old time family photos, obituaries, military photos and he even had a separate wedding scrapbook of the extended family. He was a member of Riverside Country Club and at the Bedford Valley Golf Club. He had also been a Golf Pro for several years.
