Lillie May Hall-Wright, age 78, of Battle Creek, died Thursday May 19, 2016 at Bronson Battle Creek. Lillie was born January 31, 1938 in Buzzard Hollow, Kentucky to George and Mary Jane (Grimes) Hall and came to Battle Creek as a child. Lillie attended Pennfield Schools. She was a proud single parent and enjoyed fishing, dancing, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family. Lillie is survived by her daughters, Kristin (Rick) Armour-Hirlemann of Battle Creek, Kim Minor of Naples, FL, Katrina (Robert) Cato, of Springport, MI, and Korina (Richard) lake of Assyria, MI , sisters, Ruby (Hollis) West of Bedford, Mi. and Georgene VanderRoost of Galesburg, MI, brothers, James Hall of Hawthorne, FL and Walter (Mary) Hall, of Antioch, CA, nine grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. Lillie was preceded in death by her sisters, Ann Axtel, Florence Begley, brothers, Roy and Frank Hall, and a son, Anthony “Tony” Hall, a grandson, Jarimy Jones, a great grandson Joshua Groff-Jones, and her parents.
