Beth Ann Lawhead, age 53, of Battle Creek, died Sunday November 22, 2015 at her home. Beth was born October 30, 1962 in Kalamazoo, to Dennis and Karen (Yeary) Todd. Beth was a resident of Augusta, MI, until moving to Battle Creek in 1983. Beth was a 1981 graduate of the Battle Creek Academy and married Robert Lawhead in 1983, the marriage ended in divorce. Beth had been employed by the former Provincial House Nursing Home, now Evergreen Manor. She has been employed for the past 25 years at Veterans Administration Medical Center. Beth had been involved in Girl Scouts with her daughter; she enjoyed her cats, and renaissance festivals. Beth is survived by her life partner, Mark Heisler, a daughter, Mary Lawhead of Munising, MI, a son, Joseph Lawhead of Chicago, her mother, Karen Todd, of Battle Creek, sisters, Donna (Jonathan) Gennick of Munising, MI, Charlyn Iles of Belding, MI, and Lori (Jeff) Skrycki, of Battle Creek, her step mother, Alma Todd of Georgia, and nine nieces and nephews. Beth was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Todd. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Monday December 21, 2015 at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service, 223 N. Bedford Rd.
