Nancy R. Nouhan, age 90, of Battle Creek, died Saturday December 20, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Hospice Residence. Nancy was born March 2, 1924 in Chattanooga, TN and came to Battle Creek as a teenager. Nancy graduated High School in Battle Creek and continued her education at the Leila Hospital, where she became a Registered Nurse. She was employed at Leila Hospital and also worked as a private duty nurse. Nancy was a long time member of the Church of God of Prophecy. Nancy loved music and played guitar, she enjoyed fishing, cooking and playing Dominoes with her many church friends. Nancy is survived by her husband Gordon Nouhan, daughters, Brenda Lacy , of Lake Wales, FL, Mary Ruffell-Curl of Ft. Worth, TX and Cheryl Kolmonen of Battle Creek, sons, David (Rowena) Nouhan, of San Antonio, TX, Don (June) Sivits, Beaumont, TX, Dick (Louise) Sivits, of Battle Creek, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren . Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Rosie Huskins, Reece Aikins, Vesta Monaweck, brothers, Clifford, Willis, Ralph and Albert Hall. The family will receive friends Monday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service, 223 N. Bedford Rd, and from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Church of God of Prophecy, 2938 West Dickman Rd. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at the church.
