Thomas J. “Tommy” Gordy, age 56 of Battle Creek, died Wednesday October 8, 2014 at his home. Tom was born July 21, 1958 in Battle Creek, to Eulis and Judith (Kelderhouse) Gordy, and was a lifelong resident. Tom was a 1976 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School and had been employed by the Mann Filter Co. and the Premier Products Co. of Kalamazoo. Tom enjoyed race cars and NASCAR, watching football, and motorcycles. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family and dog “Bozo”. Tom is survived by his mother, Judith Gordy of Battle Creek, sons, Steven (Summer) Gordy of Virginia, Chad (Amy) Gordy of Battle Creek, daughters, Donna, Elisha, and Stacy , his aunts, Juanita Kelly and Joyce Duflo, a sister, Janice Reno of Battle Creek many nieces and nephews and 14 grandchildren
