Helen G. Zautcke, age 89, of Battle Creek, died Wednesday February 22, 2012, at Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo. Helen was born July 29, 1922 in Battle Creek, to John F. and Donna E. (Rogers) Salinas. Helen was a graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. She married Robert A. Zautcke on November 6, 1947. Helen was employed by Starks Restaurant Supply Co. for over 30 years. She was a volunteer at Borgess Hospital for many years and Meals on Wheels while wintering in Florida. Helen is survived by her sons, John J. Zautcke of Warren, Michigan and Franklin A. (Sandra) Zautcke of Colorado Springs, Colorado, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert, in 1994. The family will receive friends from 2-8PM Friday at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service, 223 N. Bedford Rd. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM, Saturday at the funeral home.
